"Color Me Mine" the Calico House way!

The ladies at the Calico House have made up some of the "Color Me Mine" aprons! They turned out adorable! We just love the little pom poms and cupcakes! We are going to have to make a few more!

The Calico House is located in Lincoln, Nebraska and owned by Janeese Olsson. They have an adorable blog, you can find HERE and the shop is just too cute! Lots of color, fabric, notions and fun! "Our shop is full of new fabrics and ideas every week. If you need inspiration, stop and see our many models and kits. We carry Moda, Westminster, Free Spirit, Andover and many more brands. Brightest, fun fabrics from all the young, new designers." - Janeese Olsson

Thanks so much for sharing the great photos with us! We love how they turned out! We are definitely going to whip a few more up! For the pattern, click HERE. For more photos of this pattern, click HERE & HERE.

Well we are super excited at Whistlepig today!! We are going to be featured on the cover of Clotilde's next catalog that drops today!! Remember those bright stars? They are going to be the first thing you see when you open your mailbox!

We get so excited when we are featured in a catalog or magazine, but to be on the cover of one is incredible! We hope the response is good! (fingers crossed!)

On the left is the special cover we made up for the orders through Clotilde (photo/quilting by Kristy from Wolf Creek Quilting). Below is the cover that you will see on the next Clotilde Catalog!

Sue Jennings' Cubby

Sue made her husband a e-Reader Cubby to accompany his new Kindle 4! Sue has a blog of her own HERE. She designs and makes teddy bears in Ashford, United Kingdom! How fun!
"I wanted to  come up with a color scheme that wasn't 'girly'.  Most of my fabrics are very feminine. However, back in the autumn I bought a good selection of quilting fabrics with an autumnal theme.  I make no apology for the fact that the colors are unseasonal.  We still have 6 inches of snow outside and I didn't want to risk driving to the fabric shop.  Perhaps I'll make a few more - one for each season!" - Sue

Thanks for sharing the eReader Cubby with us & on your blog! It turned out great!
