We made it!!!

We are very excited to be participating in Quiltmaker's Blog Tour.  This is the 8th Volume of this terrific magazine and I proud to say we have been in on this since the beginning and have watched it grow into a fantastic franchise.  Sadly I have to admit that I did miss participating in one issue, but when it was published and I got all shaky and teary eyed I vowed never to miss another!!!

This issues features Gertie the Goat - an applique project.  Gertie is part of our animal lineup from an upcoming fabric line called "The Farm At Whistlepig Creek".  Many of you know that I design fabrics for RJR Fabrics.  This line will be shipping out in January and is a luscious line of flannel fabrics.  Yup - Flannel!!!!  And I've got to touch the samples.  It is the softest flannel ever with the best color.

These are the main panel and stripe. You could whip up a baby quilt or two or ten in just a blink of an eye!

And we think teens would love some jammie pants from our hounds tooth coordinates.  Watch for these fabrics coming soon to your favorite quilt store.

Now for your favorite part.  We will be giving away three copies of 100 Blocks Volume 8 plus three copies of our new book Doodlebug Day Camp!  Leave a comment below and will draw the winner on Wednesday the 13th.

In order for us to notify you, we have to have your e-mail address, so be sure to leave that with your comment.  Worried about getting spam? Just spell out @  and . - substitute "at" and "dot".  If you would like to be added to our e-mail list - just let us know and we will do that too.

Good luck and thanks for checking in with us!!!

Helper Kitty

Truffles is simultaneously testing the tote bag project for cat bed possibilities
at the same time she is selecting fabric for the next project, trying the fabric
out for cat pillow, all the while dispersing a large quantity of hair.
What a multi-tasker!

Final inspection. Serious cat bed potential.
Still applying hair, a girls work is never done.
