Quilts and More Magazine

We made up some fun Halloween inspired pillows for Quilts and More Magazine! They issue has come out and we are all over it =] The fun spiderweb and bat pillow are on the cover, table of contents, 4 page spread and an advertisement for the electronic magazine! Quilts and More is a magazine put out 4 times a year by Better Homes and Garden full of "simple, fresh and fun projects." It is very well done and we are very excited to be among so many fun projects in the Fall 2012 issue with our "Happy Haunts" pillows!
This past Spring we were next to Amy Butler's booth! We got to meet her and her husband, David. Both amazing and nice people! So when we saw that Quilts and More's  project tester Mary Pepper skipped the spooky appliqués and used a combination of  Parson Gray’s Curious Nature collection for FreeSpirit that David Butler designed, we were thrilled! His fabrics make the pillows seasonally versatile! They turned out great! The magazine is available now!

Quilting Economics

This is a fun graphic I stumbled across on Facebook and it made me smile! It is nice to know other quilters share my stashing philosophy! Does this apply to anyone else's fabric buying habits?

Zerba Bag Photos

As we know, some of the best things in life are difficult. =] Well, definitely not simple. We love the Zerba Bag, and get lots of compliments on them around town! The steps aren't hard, there are just a lot of them! Add in a little bit unusual construction and we have a few confused purse makers! Here are some photos of all the Diagrams(This is not the actual pattern, just helpful photos and tips. You still must purchase the pattern to complete the bag.) This tutorial  is available under the Tutorials Tab. You can purchase the pattern in PDF or paper from HERE.

I hope these shine some light! If you still need help do not hesitate to email us!
